Going out with a (fizz)bang

Fizzbanger is part of Lush's permanent range as of now. After Christmas and Valentine's Day, I decided to place an order of regular products that I hadn't got around to trying. Bath bombs are always a must and Fizzbanger was one I had been eyeing for a while. It's described to be apple and cinnamon scented which seemed similar to Phoenix Rising which was one reason I put it off for so long.

The scent was more citrusy than apple to my senses. It was more like the "You've Been Mangoed" bath melt than anything. It's definitely a strong scent that will stand out. It's uplifting and awakening.

The bath bomb is a larger one. Acceptable to cut in to two halves to use across two baths. I used half of one and it fizzed for around five minutes. I believe there's popping candy in this one too. I know the limited edition "Cinders" bath bomb from the Christmas range supposedly has audible popping candy in it, but I've never been able to point it out. I was surprised when I started hearing what sounded like tiny explosions in the water beneath me.

It's not one I'd repurchase because of the citrus aspect. However, I did love the green color it left behind for the remainder of my bath.

LUSH Shoot for the Stars bath bomb

The best thing about being a part in the lush community is that there's so many others. They're always super nice and open to giving and taking advice. There are a lot of products with cult followings within our lushie universe. One of them is the "Honey I washed the Kids" soap. Known and loved for the honey comb scent.
Shoot for the Stars was released for this past lush christmas range and the past one also. It shares the same scent as Honey I Washed the Kids.

As you can see, it put on a phenomenal show. It fizzed for about a good ten minutes. First with blue, then yellow, pink, and finally pure silver glitter streams. I didn't even have to add a bubble bar for bubbles.

The scent was so strong a prominent through out the entire bath. I was not keen on it at all though. I thought it was overly sickly sweet and would not buy it again. The color of the water was so beautiful though, so I definitely recommend it to anyone that enjoys the honey scent. Hopefully it'll make a return Christmas 2015!
